Sweetgrass has a wonderfully pleasant scent and is used to attract beneficial energy and favorable circumstances. 

Sweetgrass should be lit with a candle or a match and then lightly shaken up and down to maintain the smoke. When your session is complete, lightly tap the braid out in an Abalone shell or fire proof dish.

*It is recommended that sage is also burned when smudging with Sweetgrass to cleanse the environment of any unwanted energy.
